With their distinctive structures, the peaks of the Rotstein, Beimstein and Untersteinkogel represent a regional landmark. These three tuff formations are of volcanic origin and unique in South Tyrol. A walk through the village takes you past the parish church of Verano. There are buses every hour to Verano-Avelengo-Merano and to Meltina-Terlano-Bolzano.

Here, you will find a 360 degree panorama waiting for you. It offers spectacular views of the Tessa Group and Brenta Dolomites, the Ortles Group, and the Alps of Sarentino and Oetztal.
