With their distinctive structures, the peaks of the Rotstein, Beimstein and Untersteinkogel represent a regional landmark. These three tuff formations are of volcanic origin and unique in South Tyrol. A walk through the village takes you past the parish church of Verano. Verano has to offer a very special scenic attraction with the so-called Knottnkino. In this nature cinema you can enjoy a unique natural spectacle. The central mountain region around the Monzoccolo is an excellent area for hiking. Circular walks take you to the “Stoanernen Manderln” (Little Stone Men), the Col Moltena, and the Verano Alp. From the farm close-by to the Boznermüllerhof you can set off on horseback, riding through the pristine natural landscapes on the plateau. Alternatively, you may visit the stables in Avelengo.
