With their distinctive structures, the peaks of the Rotstein, Beimstein and Untersteinkogel represent a regional landmark. These three tuff formations are of volcanic origin and unique in South Tyrol. A walk through the village takes you past the parish church of Verano. Nearby there are inviting inns where you may enjoy South Tyrolean delicacies.

There are buses every hour to Verano-Avelengo-Merano and to Meltina-Terlano-Bolzano.

Right on the Monzoccolo, numerous huts offer unforgettable destinations. They are all operated and are happy to serve you typical South Tyrolean dishes. Here, you will find a 360 degree panorama waiting for you. It offers spectacular views of the Tessa Group and Brenta Dolomites, the Ortles Group, and the Alps of Sarentino and Oetztal.
