The ski area offers 40 km of well-groomed slopes with different difficulty levels. The ski area is a paradise for families with children. The sunny slopes offer on the whole an easy to medium difficulty for skiers and snowboarders. Three kilometres are marked as black and are only for experienced skiers. At the Lucki Kinderland the youngest skiers can spend their day, while the parents may indulge in the pleasure of unadulterated fun on the slopes. In the children’s ski school in the ski area Merano 2000 your children will safely learn to ski under the guidance of professional instructors.

During your winter holidays in Verano there are numerous and varied leisure options also off the slopes. On the toboggan runs in Verano you may race downhill with great fun. On the three-kilometer natural toboggan run in the area Merano 2000 kids and adults will have plenty of fun. For families with small children there is a special toboggan run on the Leadner Alp – about a mile from our farm. Another attraction is the Alpine Bob at the ski resort Merano 2000. The Mountain Roller Coaster is open all year round and will thrill young and old. Backcountry skiers, winter hikers and snowshoers will enjoy the wonderful hours in the snowy mountains. At the ski resort the followers of cross-country skiing will find a five-kilometre loop trail, which is also suitable for beginners. In good snow conditions, the close-by Val d’Ultimo lures with another 25 kilometres of perfectly groomed cross-country trails. During the festive season the Christmas Market in Merano invites to a visit. Bright lights illuminate the alleys of the old town and the smell of roasted almonds and mulled wine is in the air.
